Measure how ready your people are for AI before you commit the budget. Six human dimensions, one scored baseline, and a plan you re-score against.
Six human-centric dimensions that determine whether your AI transformation succeeds or quietly fails.
Three views of the tool — the dashboard, the survey, and the report — each built for a different audience.
Diagnose where you stand, build the capabilities you are missing, embed them — then measure again as the ground moves.
The Index comes from Narmadha Kamalakannan's doctoral research at École des Ponts Business School, Paris. Its six dimensions were first published as the AI Readiness Scan in a mixed-methods study of 217 professionals and 15 manager interviews across France, India and the United States.
The human conditions that decide whether AI adoption succeeds: Psychological Safety, Cultural Intelligence, Governance & Compliance, Skill Confidence, Change Resilience and Leadership for AI Era. You get a score for each, by business unit, so you can see where readiness is strong and where it will slow your rollout.
Each employee completes 24 anonymous questions, 2 short quizzes on intercultural intelligence and governance readiness, and an interview: about 30 minutes in total. The survey is shared through a unique link your HR team sends internally. No personal data is collected. Optional structured interviews with senior leaders cross-check the results against your stated strategy.
A full Readiness Index engagement runs 4 to 6 weeks, from survey launch to the leadership debrief.
A live dashboard of scores by dimension, department and seniority; a written leadership report with priority actions rather than a list of everything to fix; and a debrief session with your CHRO or HR leadership team to agree next steps. You also get a baseline to re-score against as your AI programme moves.
Yes. It comes from doctoral research at École des Ponts Business School, published in The Paris Journal on AI & Digital Ethics (2026) as "From Fear to Fluency: Cultivating AI Confidence and Socio-Economic Wellbeing in the Workforce".
Yes. The free Prototype Lab at humia5.com/try lets you test the mechanics of all six dimensions with generic scenarios. It has no login and stores no data. The validated diagnostic, with benchmarking and a report, is the paid enterprise version.
What comes next depends on what the data shows. Typical follow-ups are targeted workshops for the weakest dimensions, executive coaching, and an annual re-scan to track progress against your baseline.
